About the role
The project manager is responsible for maintaining the budgeting, planning, development and production of all things related to physical retail in the Japanese market. It involves extensive coordination and negotiation between fixture/graphic companies, cross-functional partners and vendors to ensure accurate and on time updates are delivered to stores. They will interface with internal and external resources, third party retail partners, third party vendors, content creators and channel marketing teams across FRL.


  • Partner with Global Display Program Manager to assist in key deliverables within your region
  • Work with fixture/graphics vendors on producing displays in accordance to the global display guidelines and partner with the Merchandising team on the execution (installations)
  • Maintain project tracker to ensure all updates execute on time
  • Act as liaison between global fixture vendor partners, graphic companies, channel marketing managers, creative and marketing on any assets related issues that come up through the program
  • Process all SOW’s and work closely with the Global Display Program manager to ensure all updates are on budget and tracked accordingly
  • Negotiate with suppliers when needed on pricing (fixtures and shipping costs)
  • Responsible for generating and tracking PO's so that the budgets are tracking accurately
  • Organize vendor partner conference calls weekly to track update progress ensuring all deadline dates are on track
  • Share project/ program status related to fixtures in meetings
  • Work on key campaign program deliverables that come up to support the team (i.e- promotional print programs)

Minimum Qualifications

  • High fluency in both Japanese and English speaking
  • 3+ years of retail experience related to retail fixture and technology deployment
  • Understand how to create and maintain project trackers on a global scale
  • Understand how to utilize and create excel and word documents
  • Excellent communicator skills
  • Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience maintaining budgets and fiscal responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and flexible
