A large multinational banking and securities firm in Tokyo is actively looking for an AV Technician/Events Coordinator to drive their event operations across the business within Japan, as well as in several key areas within the APAC Region.
The candidate will be tasked with the following;
-Manage daily operations during video conferences.
-Technology support. - Setting up AC equipment, presentation support.
-AV equipment maintenance.
-First level hardware troubleshooting and escalation to vendor.
-User support over phone/email
Along with the following requirements, the ideal candidate would have end-to-end experience with running a large-scale show, or event which requires AV equipment.
-AV experience technology – good working knowledge of hardware like microphones, mixers, cameras, etc.
-Event planning from an AV standpoint; setting up microphones, switch board, monitors, etc.
-Communication skills in English; Japanese is nice to have but not required
